Nikon Z5IIC camera mockup
The Nikon Z5IIC camera is rumored to be cheaper than the Nikon Z5II ($1,697) and significantly cheaper than the Sony a7C II ($2,498):
- Full-frame 24 MP sensor
- IBIS
- Based on the existing Nikon Z5II
- Most components will be the same as the Nikon Z5II
- No viewfinder
- New AF recognition mode “Fish”
- New video features
- Price for body only: rumored at $1,600 or less (could vary by country), which makes sense because of the lack of EVF
- Will come in silver and black editions (only the top plate will be silver)
- Official announcement expected in the next 36 hours (September 24th was the date I was told; in the US, we can expect the Z5IIC around midnight Eastern time on Tuesday or Wednesday – stay tuned).
