The Nikon NX MobileAir will be completely free starting July 9

Nikon announed that the NX MobileAir smartphones app will be completely free starting with Ver. 1.6, scheduled for release on July 9, 2026:

To allow more people to use NX MobileAir without restrictions and with peace of mind, starting with Ver. 1.6, scheduled for release on July 9, 2026, we will remove the functional restrictions related to albums and saved files, and it will be available for free. Accordingly, new renewals for NX MobileAir’s paid plans (monthly auto-renewal subscriptions) will cease on July 9, 2026, and equivalent functionality will be available free of charge thereafter.
