The Nikon Z9 should be available and in stock by the end of the year at most retailers.
Even B&H Photo is currently shipping Nikon Z9 orders placed on September 5th.
A large batch of Nikon Z9 cameras is expected in Germany in the next few weeks that will fulfill most if not all existing pre-orders (confirmed by Nikon Service Point Dresden):
