The new Nikkor Z 800mm f/6.3 VR PF S lens was announced less than two weeks ago and is already shipping – an impressive achievement by Nikon! The above picture was sent by a reader from Singapore. I expect the lens to start shipping in the US next week. I also expect the wait time for new orders of the lens to be around 12 months, just like the Z9.
Update: I got a tip that the new 800mm lens is also now shipping in Canada.
