Nikon Netherlands: “informational evening” on October 14th

Netherlands -flagOk, this is the last one, I promise: Nikon Netherlands has invited Dutch NPS members for an “informational evening” on October 14th, 2009 in Hooglanderveen. Nikon is picking up the tab (food and drinks, I guess).

Admin, As far as I know ‘Heideweg’ is referring to a street name and not a city.
(I live in the Netherlands and ‘weg’ is a word for ‘road’)

c’mon, photo.net? The censorship there is brutal – Nikon is a sponsor and only when you mention Nikon and a rumor in one sentence they will delete your account… they are actually worse than dpreview (the forum part), otherwise it is a good site.

Is there a better forum than these? Just curious, I’m at dpreview but I’m tired of most members being testosterone challenged old farts without any photo talent.

Yup, sometimes though I think it depends on who you are. Read this thread and prepare to be amused:

So only for NPS – pros, that means news should be for a pro oriented item. Wishing for a 24-70 2.8 with VR.

don’t think so – read the Q&A post on the first page, no 24-70 with VRII for now…

The lenses seem to be: 16-35 f/4, 24 f/1.4 and tele zoom (100-500mm?). Any more in sight? What about compact APS-C?
