Nikon Japan is already warning about Z50II camera supply shortages (for both body only and lens kits) on their website. As a result, they are now offering 10% off coupon code for customers in Japan:

“Z50II [Coupon Distribution]” has received many more orders than expected, so it may take some time to deliver. Thank you for your understanding. We are distributing a 10% off coupon (worth 14,520 yen) that can be used when purchasing “Z50II”.

The Nikon Z50II was announced on November 6th and is expected to start shipping later this month. Here are the updated shipping dates from retailers:

Nikon Zf camera firmware update version 1.21 released

Nikon released a new firmware update version 1.21 for the Zf camera with a single improvement:

  • Fixed an issue that sometimes caused overexposure in the viewfinder and monitor shooting displays (live view) when the standby timer had expired then reactivated.
