Here are some very early and unconfirmed rumors about a new Nikon Z high-speed camera model to be announced for the 2024 Olympics:
If those rumors are true, I can see Nikon doing something similar to the new Sony A9III:
“Sony has delivered the world’s first mirrorless camera with a full-frame global shutter sensor: the a9 III. This revolutionary release promises unrivaled speed thanks to the capabilities of the newly designed 24.6MP Exmor RS CMOS sensor, including 120 fps continuous shooting with AF/AE, flash sync at all speeds up to 1/80,000 sec., and no subject distortion. Sports, wildlife, and action photographers will never miss a moment when using the a9 III.” (B&H Photo)
FYI: I received the above information BEFORE the official announcement of the Sony A9III camera – I was just trying to get more details but unfortunately, this is all I have for now. As usual, I always accept anonymous tips here.

While retaining most of the functions and advantages of the current LA-FE1 version, the new LA-FE2 can also drive traditional Nikkor AF lenses (commonly known as D Type lenses) released by Nikon since 1987. The new MonsterAdapter LA-FE2 is expected to be launched in 2023. The price and more detailed information will be revealed soon, so stay tuned.
