The first two Nikon Z-mount lenses to be discontinued:

The next one is strange:

More discontinued Nikon cameras and lenses:

Some old F-mount lenses that were previously considered discontinued (and have been out of stock for a long time) suddenly showed up in stock at B&H Photo:

The official list of discontinued Nikon cameras and lenses can be found here.

Update from ZoetMB:

  • The FTZ model number was changed many months ago, maybe more than a year.
  • Here’s another model number change: The Tamron Z 28-75 f/2.8 labeled 20107 has been discontinued and replaced with 20137. Same specs, same price. Don’t know why.
  • There are four F-mount lenses officially discontinued in the U.S., but still available in Japan: 10-20DX, 14-24 2.8G, 28 1.8G, and 300 2.8G. B&H has B-stock on the 10-20mm DX and regular stock on the 14-24mm and 28mm.
  • There are four F-mount lenses discontinued in Japan, but still on the Nikon USA list:
    • 50 1.8AF (in stock)
    • 24 1.8G (backordered at Nikon USA. OS at B&H)
    • 10-24 DX (in stock)
    • 85 DX micro (out of stock at Nikon USA and B&H)
  • NikonUSA lists 52 F-mount lens SKUs, but 16 haven’t been available for two years or longer, and 7 others are AI-S manual-focus lenses that are only available via special order, yet there’s no way to order them on the website. That brings the net total to 29, but at least check, Nikon USA only had 12 in stock, although 23 were in stock at B&H Photo.
  • Interestingly, at last check, 9 Z-mount lenses were backordered at NikonUSA, although only one was out of stock at B&H.
