Rumors from China: Nikon to launch a new AF/AF-D to Z-mount lens adapter in 2025


The latest rumors from China are about a new Nikon AF/AF-D to Z-mount lens adapter expected to launch in 2025:

“Nikon may launch an AF/AF-D to Z-mount adapter next year] The new adapter will have a built-in focus motor to adapt to AF/AF-D lenses. It is currently speculated that the new adapter may be named FTZ III or FTG SC.”

I remember receiving a similar rumor back in 2022 – so take it with a grain of salt:
