
In addition to the new updates of NX Studio and Wireless Transmitter Utility, Nikon also released a new version of NX Tether:
Nikon NX Tether Version 2.4.0:
- Added support for the ZR.
- Added U4 shooting mode.
- Added an “R3D NE 12-bit (R3D)” video file type in picture settings.
- Sign-in with Nikon ID is now required. You need to sign up for your Nikon ID if you do not have one.
- From this version onward, Nikon Message Center 2 is no longer installed with NX Tether. If you have already installed it, you can separately download the updates from the Download Center.
- [Pixel shift shooting] is now available when the self-timer is selected.*1
- Direct measurement of white balance is now also available in photo mode.*1
- More cameras now support the “Bird” detection feature.*2
- More cameras now support saving and loading the power zoom position.*2
- More cameras now support the power zoom.*3
