Nikon Z8 firmware update version 3.01 released

Nikon released a new firmware update version 3.01 for the Z8 camera with a single fix:

  •  Fixed an issue that prevented the camera from operating properly with some lenses.

The last firmware update version 3.0 caused issues with some third-party lenses – I assume the new version fixes the problem.

Viltrox also warns: don’t update Nikon cameras’ firmware with third-party lenses attached
