This is pretty much the end of F-mount. You are not going to see many F-mount products available for sale after 2024, especially in Europe, where all electronics will be required to have USB-C charging ports by the end of 2024:
“The European Union (EU) passed a law in June 2022 that will require most electronic devices sold in the region to have a USB-C charging port by the end of 2024. This law, known as the Common Charger Directive, applies to small and medium devices like mobile phones, tablets, cameras, e-readers, earbuds, and handheld video game consoles. Laptops will be required to have USB-C ports starting in spring 2026. The EU’s goal is to reduce electronic waste and make electrical appliances more sustainable, while also reducing consumer confusion.” (AI generated)
Correction: the EU common charger directive will not impact Nikon DSLR cameras in 2025
