Nikon Japan suspends orders for the Nikon Z50 camera


Today, Nikon Japan announced a suspension of orders for the Nikon Z50 camera due to “a large number of pre-orders“. A quick check shows that the Z50 is in stock everywhere in the US and Europe:

Nikon Mirrorless Camera “Z50” Order Suspension Notice

July 18, 2024

Thank you for your continued patronage of Nikon products.

We have received a large number of pre-orders for the Nikon mirrorless camera “Z50”, “Z50 16-50 VR Lens Kit” and “Z50 Double Zoom Kit”. As it will take some time to deliver the products to our customers, we have decided to suspend the acceptance of orders from Friday, July 19, 2024. We deeply apologize for the
inconvenience caused to customers who are waiting for this product.

We will continue to monitor the situation to determine the expected delivery date and when we will resume accepting orders, and will notify you once it has been confirmed. We will do our utmost to deliver your order as soon as possible, so we appreciate your understanding. (Nikon Japan)
