Several readers have already asked me how to pre-order the new Nikon Z cameras tonight – the pre-orders usually open 2-3 hours after the official announcement depending on the embargo set by Nikon. I do not know how long the embargo is this time. I will publish the links right after they go live, so stay tuned and follow NR for the latest updates (see all the different ways you can follow NR).
Just a quick reminder: today is August 22nd and the Nikon D850 is still out stock at the major US online camera stores (Adorama, B&H, Amazon). If you are even slightly considering to purchase the new Nikon Z6 or Z7, I suggest you put your pre-order in tonight, you can always cancel it later. This is what I will do. I expect the new Z cameras to be out of stock for months.
