First rumored Nikon 1 V4 camera specifications

Here are the first rumored Nikon 1 V4 camera specifications:

  • 22.6 MP (the V3 was 18.4MP)
  • Fully swivel LCD screen
  • Faster AF
  • To be announced in Q1 2016

Update: after some additional research, I believe the V4 specs listed above are wrong, especially the sensor’s MP count. Sorry about that, I will try to get more reliable info. The V4 will most likely have the same 20.8MP sensor as the J5.

Expect the prices of the Nikon 1 V3 model to start falling in the next few months (currently “only” $100 off).

As of today, it seems that nothing major will be announced in September which explains the lack of any interesting rumors/leaks. This is strange and unusual because in the past few years Nikon always had a big announcement in the August/September timeframe. Based on the info I received so far, Q1 of 2016 will be big for Nikon (V4, D5 and more).
