Sigma releases new firmware updates for several Nikon F-mount lenses that fix issues when using Sigma lenses on the Nikon Z7 camera in combination with the Nikon Z-mount adapter FTZ. This is an improved firmware from what was already announced on October 26th, 2018:
- SIGMA 24-35mm F2 DG HSM | Art for NIKON F mount: When the lens is used in combination with the Nikon “Z 7” and their “Mount Adapter FTZ”, it has corrected the phenomenon whereby it may occasionally stop recording while shooting video.
- SIGMA 50mm F1.4 DG HSM | Art for NIKON F mount: When the lens is used in combination with the Nikon “Z 7” and their “Mount Adapter FTZ”, it has corrected the phenomenon whereby the response to the AF operation is intermittent when starting to shoot with the subject completely out of focus.
- SIGMA 85mm F1.4 DG HSM | Art for NIKON F mount and SIGMA 135mm F1.8 DG HSM | Art for NIKON F mount: When the lens is used in combination with the Nikon “Z 7” and their “Mount Adapter FTZ”, it has corrected the phenomenon whereby it may occasionally show overexposure when narrowing down the aperture from F5.6 while shooting.
