This is an updated post on what to expect from Nikon in the future – the next official announcement will most likely be for the Nikkor 16-80mm f/2.8-3.5 DX, 500mm f/4E and 600mm f/4E FL ED VR lenses (not sure if they will be introduced together):
New Nikkor 24-70mm f/2.8 VR lens (see patent) – the price is rumored to be $500 more than the current version ($1,886.95). Other rumored lenses: 200mm f/4, 16mm f/2.8, fast DX zoom and Nikon 24mm f/1.8.
New Coolpix cameras with a large sensor (more than one model possible)
New Nikon 1 V4 mirrorless camera to be announced by the end of 2015 or in early 2016
New Nikon 1 lenses – all but one of the 1 Nikkor prototype lenses shown back in 2011 were already announced (the picture shows a prototype of the not-yet-announced 1 Nikkor macro lens)
