Probably the most difficult piece of information to obtain about any camera release is the actual announcement date. This is because if I get a tip saying “The Nikon Z8 is coming in early May“, there could be several different possibilities:
On top of all that you also have different time zones and different ways of recording the date format (for example the Nikon Z8 will be announced on 05.08.23 – is it May 8th or August 5th? Is it the actual announcement or the release date or is it the start of a teaser campaign? You get the idea.
The latest I head is to expect something in early May (in the next 30 days), but as you can imagine, I have no idea what that means exactly. We also expect at least one new lens (possibly two).
