It seems that in 2021 Nikon finally realized the power of YouTube and they let Matt Irwin test the new Nikkor Z MC 105mm f/2.8 VR S lens before it starts shipping in late June (he was even able to upload RAW sample photos online – something I have not seen in a very long time for a brand new product):
