MultiDyne Acquires the Assets of MRMC

We are incredibly proud to announce a major milestone during our 50th anniversary year! MultiDyne Video & Fiber Optic Systems has officially acquired the assets of MRMC (Mark Roberts Motion Control), a pioneer with six decades of heritage in camera robotics and motion control.

Through this strategic asset acquisition, we have established a new company – MultiDyne Robotics & Motion Control – which will proudly maintain and build upon the well-known MRMC brand.

Why this combination is a perfect architectural fit:

– End-to-End Synergy: MultiDyne has long mastered the transport, processing, and management of signals. Bringing MRMC into the organization places us right at the point of image acquisition itself—connecting the very beginning of the content creation chain.

– Zero Product Overlap: This is not about absorbing a competitor. Our portfolios feature virtually no overlap; instead, our fiber-optic transport, signal processing, and camera interfaces perfectly complement MRMC’s physical robotic positioning, tracking, and motion control technologies.

– Global Footprint: This move significantly strengthens our international presence, particularly across Europe.

“Together, our technologies create a powerful end-to-end ecosystem for content creators, broadcasters, and live production professionals worldwide,” says Frank Jachetta, CEO of MultiDyne.

We are excited to welcome MRMC’s brilliant engineering expertise and core technologies into the MultiDyne family as we embark on our next 50 years of innovation!
