The price of the Nikon Coolpix A camera (see review) finally dropped in the US as well to $699 at Amazon, Adorama and B&H (the refurbished price is now $599.95). This $400 price drop is for a regular (Nikon US warranty) and not grey market camera.
I expect the Coolpix A model to be discontinued soon. Nikon may announce a replacement in January-February during the CES or CP+ shows.
Another price drop: grey market Nikon D750 camera is now selling for $1,849.99 on eBay, D810 grey market price is down to $2,759.
