Nikon to announce a new autofocus cinema lens at the NAB show next week













The 2026 NAB show starts tomorrow, and Nikon is already teasing the release of a new AF Nikkor Z cinema lens (see previous rumors).

I am waiting to receive more details on the new lens. Stay tuned!

Update – so far, nobody seems to know what the new Nikkor Z Cinema lens will be. That could mean that we will not get an official announcement, which also explains the lack of prior rumors. This could just be another reiteration of the previous teaser for Nikkor Z Cinema lenses:
