At the 2026 CP+ show, which starts tomorrow, MonsterAdapter will announce two new Z-mount adapters:
- MonsterAdapter LA-FZ11 (the previous version was LA-FZ1): manual-focus enhanced adapter for Nikon F-mount non-CPU lenses, designed exclusively for Nikon Z-mount. It features AE control, EXIF recording, and innovative MF assist functions (with automatic aperture control and focus indicator, but no AF).
- MonsterAdapter LA-NZ1: enables the use of Contax N-mount Carl Zeiss lenses on Nikon Z-mount cameras with autofocus functionality.

MonsterAdapter LA-FZ11
MonsterAdapter announced during the CP+ exhibition that it is developing a manual enhancement mount adapter designed for Nikon F-mount non-CPU lenses: the LA-FZ11. This product, specifically engineered for Nikon Z-mount mirrorless cameras, elevates the experience of using F-mount non-CPU manual lenses on Z-mount cameras to unprecedented levels.
Features:
- Auto Exposure. Built-in aperture motor enables auto exposure control on Z-mount cameras.
- Aperture Ring Control. Allows quick aperture value setting via the lens’s own aperture ring while retaining aperture operation through the camera body settings.
- Manual-focus Enhancement. Offers two selectable modes: traditional manual focus assist mode, plus an innovative application of autofocus indicator for manual focusing.
- EXIF data recording. Utilizes wireless communication to transmit lens model information, enabling recording of shooting parameters such as focal length and aperture.
The LA-FZ11 showcased at CP+ is a non-working prototype unit, and its appearance is not final. MonsterAdapter will release a separate video later to demonstrate the LA-FZ11’s features. The LA-FZ11 is scheduled for release within 2026. We will announce the retail price and launch date at a later time.
Note: Although the LA-FZ11 features CPU contacts, these contacts cannot recognize CPU lenses. If you require compatibility with AI/AIS CPU lenses, please select other MonsterAdapter products such as the LA-FZ1 (Z-mount) or LA-FE1/LA-FE2 (E-mount). Be sure to read the instruction manual before use.
MonsterAdapter LA-NZ1
MonsterAdapter is pleased to announce the development of its new product, the LA-NZ1: an autofocus electronic mount adapter, designed to adapt CONTAX N-mount Carl Zeiss series lenses to Nikon Z-mount cameras. Following the 2022 release of the LA-NE1, which enabled Sony E-mount camera users to utilize CONTAX N-mount lenses, MonsterAdapter continues its mission by bringing classic N-mount lenses to the Nikon Z-mount. This allows Z-mount camera users to experience the legendary optical design of Carl Zeiss lenses.
Features:
- Enhanced AF Performance: Supports eye/pet eye tracking and subject tracking;
- Aperture ring Integration: Quickly set aperture settings via the lens aperture ring;
- Supports In-Body Image Stabilization (IBIS);
- Firmware is upgradeable via a computer.
Craftsmanship:
- Design Aesthetic: Adopts the same design language as classic Carl Zeiss N-series lenses;
- Front/Rear Mounts: Utilizes high-durability new manufacturing techniques to effectively prevent scratches;
- Dust Seal: Z-mount incorporates a dust seal to minimize dust ingress.
The MonsterAdapter LA-NZ1 supports all 9 CONTAX N-system lenses and select CONTAX 645 lenses (requires NAM1 adapter for N-mount conversion).
