Today Cosina announced five new Voigtlander lenses, one of which is a new Voigtlander NOKTON 55mm f/1.2 SLIIs lens for Nikon F-mount. Pricing and availability were not revealed. Here are the details:
“By reviewing the optical design and the structure around the contacts, we have realized a standard lens equipped with electronic contacts in a lens with a brightness of F1.2, which was generally said to be impossible with the Nikon Ai-S mount. The mount is the Nikon Ai-S mount with built-in CPU. Equipped with an Ai coupler, it is possible to use a wide variety of bodies, from film SLRs of yesteryear to the latest digital SLRs.
