BCN Ranking published 2020 Japanese camera market share report
BCN Ranking released their 2020 Japanese camera market share report (not worldwide!). BCN Ranking collects real sales data only from approximately 40% of the Japanese retailers. The Nikon related numbers:
- Nikon point and shoot camera share went down (no longer in the top three, was #1 last year)
- Nikon DSLR camera share went up by more than 5% (still at #2 spot)
- Nikon is still not in top 3 mirrorless cameras in Japan (I think this will change next year as Olympus fades away)
