Also released: firmware updates for Nikon D4, D3S, D3X, D3, D7000 and D3200

In addition to the D600 and D800 updates, Nikon released also new firmware for the D4, D3S, D3X, D3, D7000 and D3200 DSLR cameras. All versions include support for the 800mm f/5.6 lens, the D4 and D3200 firmware contain several additional fixes. The D7100 currently doesn’t have added support for the 800mm f/5.6 lens. – When the camera’s shooting mode is set to Auto or Auto (flash off), it now operates in Auto or Auto (flash off) mode. Prior to this upgrade, the camera functioned in [P] (Programmed auto) exposure mode.

– Live view can now be initiated even when the camera is set to “Auto” or “No flash” in GUIDE mode.
