New Capture One 22 pre-upgrade campaign, major Photoshop and Lightroom updates, new version of ON1 Photo RAW 2022

At the 2021 MAX conferenceAdobe announced several major Photoshop and Lightroom features. Photoshop got AI Selection, Neural Filters, and more while the Lightroom updates include improved masking, new presets, automatic sky selection, “Community Remix”, “Crop overlay” and more. Here are the latest Adobe October releases:

  • Improved the mask for trees when using Sky Swap AI
  • Improved the stability of Sky Swap AI on Windows
  • Resolved an issue where you would be prompted to save the default preset when changes are made in Export
  • Added the ability to set the starting number for sequences when renaming
  • Improved Ps plugin support. This allows running x86 plugins in ARM architecture, loading Qt-based plugins like Perfectly Clear, as well as support for Nik Silver Efex Pro and Viveza.
  • Improved support for Nikon 12-bit NEF files
  • Block installation on deprecated OS’s such as Windows 7 & 8, and macOS 10.13
  • Resolved an issue where Olympus raw files were not being opened as tier 1 cameras
  • Added support for changing brush size with the scroll gesture by holding down opt key on macOS when the preferences are set to adjust the brush size
  • Support for New Cameras — Sony A7R IIIa, Sony ZV-E10
  • Other Bug Fixes and Improvements
