Nikon Canada to reduce warranty on all produce (starting February 1st)

Nikon Canada is rumored to reduce their warranty coverage for all products on February 1st, 2021. Currently, the warranty in Canada on cameras and flashes is 2 years and on lenses is 5 years. On February 1st 2021, the warranty is rumored to change to 1 year for all products (cameras, flashes, and lenses).

The Nikon Canada warranty website is not update yet, but it will be on February 1st. If you are planing to buy Nikon equipment, you still have two weeks to get to old warranty coverage (check the Nikon section at Amazon Canada, Camera Canada).

Last week Nikon officially announced that they will no longer provide international warranty on their products.
