All Nikon software updated with support for the new Z5 mirrorless camera


Nikon released updates for all of their software packages with added support for the new Z5 mirrorless camera and a few other minor changes:

ViewNX-i Version 1.4.3:

  • Added support for the Z 5.
  • Fixed an issue that would in rare circumstances result in image transfer using Nikon Transfer 2 being cancelled under certain conditions.

Capture NX-D Version 1.6.3:

  • Added support for the Z 5.
  • Fixed an issue that resulted in different images appearing in Preview and Thumbnail areas when RAW pictures taken in Continuous H mode on certain COOLPIX cameras were displayed in Image Viewer.

ViewNX-i & Capture NX-D Version 1.20.030

  • Combined installation for both ViewNX-i and Capture NX-D

Camera Control Pro 2 Version 2.32.0:

  • Added support for the Z 5.

Picture Control Utility 2 Version 2.4.6:

  • Added support for the Z 5.

Wireless Transmitter Utility Version 1.9.3:

  • Added support for the Z 5.

Additional note: The mobile application “Manual Viewer 2”, which allows you to download and view the instruction manuals for Nikon DSLR and mirrorless cameras, will be terminated on August 21, 2020 (source).
