After Tamron, Sigma also issued a notice about using Sigma lenses with the new Nikon D6 camera:
Thank you for purchasing and using our products.
We have found that some SIGMA interchangeable lenses for Nikon are not fully compatible with the Nikon D6 released on June 5th.
When certain lenses are attached to this camera the following phenomena will occur.Products concerned:
- SIGMA 12-24mm f/4 DG HSM | Art
- SIGMA 14-24mm f/2.8 DG HSM | Art
- SIGMA 14mm f/1.8 DG HSM | Art
- SIGMA 28mm f/1.4 DG HSM | Art
- SIGMA 40mm f/1.4 DG HSM | Art
- SIGMA 85mm f/1.4 DG HSM | Art
- SIGMA 105mm f/1.4 DG HSM | Art
- SIGMA 135mm f/1.8 DG HSM | Art
Phenomenon:
- It takes time to start even if the camera power is turned on
- Autofocus does not work
