This is the original MC HELIOS-44M-4 58mm 1:2 lens (made by factory ‘Jupiter‘ in USSR, Valdai city), crossed with the original Nikon AF Nikkor 50mm 1:1.8 lens.

Main specifications:

  1. Nikon F mount
  2. optics from MC HELIOS-44M-4 58mm 1:2 with classic swirling bokeh
  3. fast focusing, AF-type lens
  4. auto aperture control, seven aperture blades
  5. correct exposure metering (not a big difference between F/1.8 and F/2.0)
  6. filter thread 52 mm
  7. MFD approx. 0.6m, maximum magnification ratio approx. 1:8
  8. aperture ring is locked
  9. in terms of the Nikon system, it is NIKON FX, AF, NON-D, NON-G lens, with a golden ‘professional’ ring
  10. weight is exactly 200 grams
