New Nikon Nikkor Z 24-70mm f/2.8 and 14-30mm f/4 S Pro lens reviews

New Nikkor Z 24-70mm f/2.8 and Nikkor Z 14-30mm f/4 S Pro lens reviews:

Nikon Nikkor Z 24-70mm f/2.8 S Pro lens review by Ephotozine:

If this is an indication of the expected standard of Nikon Z lenses, then we may well have something exceptional here. The quality of the images is gorgeous and the technical measurements bear this out as well. OK, the price is high, and a margin above the competition as well, but on the other hand what price quality? For each of us, this point will be different, but the cost is not totally out of the ballpark and the qualities of the lens are very, very tempting.

Admittedly buying a Nikon Z7 to go with this is not exactly a low price option, but if that is where the photographer places the cash, then the Nikon Nikkor Z 24-70mm f/2.8 S lens will definitely not disappoint.

Nikon Nikkor Z 14-30mm f/4 S Pro lens review by Ephotozine:

The Nikon Nikkor Z 14-30mm f/4 S is the second Z series lens to be reviewed and it is another gem, without doubt a superb performer that handles really well. There are some interesting design features, such as the compulsory in-camera distortion correction, but there is no denying the usefulness of the end result. The 14mm wide angle is an added bonus, bringing just a slightly wider view as well as a reasonable near-standard 30mm. All in a totally rectilinear lens. We have another Editor’s Choice, another very impressive optic for the new Nikon Z system.

Nikon Nikkor Z 24-70mm f/2.8 S Pro lens review by Photography Blog

Images from the Nikon Z 24-70mm f/2.8 Slens are excellent – as we’ve come to expect from the Z series – with a good level of sharpness and clarity across the whole frame. It is well suited to a wide range of different subjects and we can see it finding its way into the kit bags of all kinds of different photographers – whether you shoot weddings, documentary, landscapes, product shots and more. Some vignetting can be seen when shooting at wide apertures – but it’s not hugely noticeable for many subjects.
