Updated Nikon Z mirrorless lens roadmap (a total of 23 Z lenses by 2021)


After the Nikkor Z 14-30mm f/4 S lens announcement (Adorama | B&H | Amazon) Nikon made a few small updates to their Nikon Z mirrorless lens roadmap:

  • The Nikkor Z 20mm f/1.8 lens release time changed from 2019 to 2020
  • The Nikkor Z 24mm f/1.8 lens release time changed from 2020 to 2019
  • 4 additional Z lenses will be announced in 2020
  • 7 new Z lenses are expected in 2021 (8 lenses were initially planned for 2021)

The Nikkor Z 58mm f/0.95 lens is still listed as “coming soon” on Nikon USA website but I think it will be released later in 2019:
