Just a quick update: the new Nikon AF-S NIKKOR 500mm f/5.6E PF ED VR lens is now also listed for pre-order at Amazon (it wasn’t before). Nikon already announced that they cannot deliver all pre-orders in September. Additional information on the lens can be found here.
