Another weekend deal: the Sigma 150-600mm f/5-6.3 DG OS HSM Contemporary lens with a free USB dock for $789 only at Adorama (regular price: $1,089).

B&H is selling the Contemporary lens in a kit with a 1.4x teleconverter for 1,289.

The Sigma Contemporary lens is lighter, cheaper and with a slightly simplified lens design compared to the Sport model that is almost twice as expensive:

• Sport: 24 elements in 16 groups with 2 FLD and 3 SLD coated lenses. All metal construction, 105mm filter threads and weather sealed.
• Contemporary: 20 elements in 14 groups with 1 FLD and 2 SLD lenses. Plastic composite construction, 95mm filter threads, not weather sealed.
