New Nikon patent for a 1 Nikkor 10-30mm f/3.5-6.3 VR mirrorless lens

Nikon 1 Nikkor 10-30mm f:3.5-6.3 VR mirrorless lens
Nikon filed a new patent in Japan for a 1 Nikkor 10-30mm f/3.5-6.3 VR mirrorless lens (for 1″ sensor). There have been several Nikon 1 lens patents in the past few months:

For reference, here is the list of currently available Nikon 1 lenses:

  • 10-30mm f/3.5-5.6 PD-ZOOM VR
  • 10-100mm f/4.5-5.6 PD-ZOOM VR
  • 6.7-13mm f/3.5-5.6 VR
  • 10-30mm f/3.5-5.6 VR
  • 10-100mm f/4.0-5.6 VR
  • 30-110mm f/3.8-5.6 VR
  • 70-300 f/4.5-5.6 VR
  • 11-27.5mm f/3.5-5.6
  • AW 10mm f/2.8
  • AW 11-27.5mm f/3.5-5.6
  • 10mm f/2.8
  • 18.5mm f/1.8
  • 32mm f/1.2

The last Nikon 1 lens was introduced in March, 2014 (together with the V3). I expect new Nikon 1 products to be announced in the upcoming weeks/months – maybe before the PhotoPlus show in NYC that takes place October 22 -24 since Canon will have a new EOS M camera.
