Update: it seems that this price drop was extended past December 13th – the new low prices are still valid today (December 15th, 2015).
We have seen several major price drops of Nikon equipment in the last few weeks. There is new price reduction for the next 3 days that just got announced extended by Nikon:
The D610 and D810 price drops are also still valid at Amazon and Adorama.
The current Nikon instant lens rebates were also extended till January 3rd, 2015 and include the D810 and D610 as qualifying cameras.
My guess is that the Nikon Df will be next to get a big price drop – refurbished cameras are already selling for $2,099.
