Tamron filed a patent in Japan for several prime lenses designed for a camera with 1″ sensor. Those lenses are probably intended for the Nikon 1 mirrorless camera, unless the new Canon mirrorless camera also has a 1″ sensor.
The patent includes a 35mm f/2 (94.5mm equivalent), 40mm f/2 (108mm equivalent), 28mm f/2 (75.6mm equivalent) and 38mm f/2 (102.6mm equivalent) lenses.
In the past only Sigma officially confirmed their interest in making lenses for the Nikon 1 mirrorless system.
