• Another reason why Nikon may have pushed the released of their 35mm f/1.4 lens – the rumor is that Samyang will release their own 35mm f/1.4 at Photokina, Nikon mount is expected (Zeiss already announced their 35mm f/1.4 lens few weeks ago).

• Application period for Nikon Photo Contest International 2010-2011 begins.

• Compact Prime CP.2 lenses from Carl Zeiss now also with F-mount.

• Plaza Shinjuku Nikon in Tokyo to be reopened on October 7th, 2010.

• In addition to the new body cap, Nikon also replaced their old lens cap LF-1 with the new LF-4. The new version say “Nikon F mount”, which could indicate that there will be a new mount soon (EVIL?):

• Nikon D3100 autofocus during video – slow and noisy, but gets the job done:
