The first review of the new Nikon 70-200mm f2.8G ED VRII is up – check it out at Cliff Mautner’s blog. It seems that Mr. Mautner is one of four photographers that have the lens right now and are working on an campaign for Nikon.
I pre-ordered mine from J&R and they should get them in stock on November 28th. This seems to be the date also for NPS members “priority” pre-orders (source). Amazon Japan also says that the lens will be available on November 30th.
