Does anyone know of a application (Windows, Mac or Android) that will test and give you the transfer speed of a memory card plugged into your computer, Tablet or Phones memory slot? I have a Nikon D7000 and want to test the cards I have as well as new cards when I purchase to see if they live up to the specs stated.

I have seen some, but never have used any. Don't be suprized when they don't match the specs - they only have to reach minimums when stating the "class" of the card. Read speed is usually all they display. Write speed is the key for finding the best cards for cameras.
If you are good in math and know basic properties of your camera, you should be able to do a test yourself.
You know the size of each file. All you need to do is see how many shots you can take in how many seconds. You should be taking a good 15 shots or so in burst mode after the buffer is full. You also have to figure out first how fast the buffer clears and add that to the equation.

How do you get that I am the spammer. I posted a legitimate question and one I posted on other message boards as well. The BS that was posted here about some camcorder software WAS NOT ME!!! In fact I responded to that asking what the hell it had to do with my question but it never showed up.
