Pete: You can buy one of those accessories into which you slide the transparency and take a picture of it, or look for a second hand slide scanner. I have a Nikon coolscan which works fine (A bit slow may be but worth the wait)

Britain looks like a huge iceberg in this image. Anyone experiencing this have any comments on it?I experienced it. It was @@@@@ horrible! Car abandoned halfway down the street wouldn't move for about a week (ironically, not even DOWNhill), country brought to a standstill. So slippery even the tiniest incline defeated most vehicles. Day after day after day with no break, never going above freezing. Many roads un-gritted because the country was running out of salt.

For the film scanner, I'd suggest buying one (secondhand?) then selling it or passing it on to a friend. No one needs a scanner for long.
