got a 70-200f2,8 VR from 15.12.08 ... still has warranty ...
I've noticed a high frequency noise of the autofocus. i read a lot about that.
I want to send it to a nikon servicepoint to fix the problem, am I right ... that the repair will be for free because of the warranty ?

It should be warranty, depends on what happened to your lens, I dropped mine that kind of voided the warranty on my repair, either way you should get it fixed. Get it send to Nikon

I had a 70-200 VR. Had to send it to Nikon for repair under warranty. The right third of the image was blurred. Didn't drop mine either. They repaired it with no question. A few months later I traded it in on a 200-400. I really couldn't trust it 100% again.

Mine is fine after the repair, 100% just like before
