[crickets chirping]Hasselblad H3DII-31 SLR Digital Camera Kit with 80mm Lens
$18,000
$2,000 on other things like waist viewfinder, memory card, extra batteryThen I would leave NR in shame for wasting 20 grand on this and not on the other wild Nikon systems that Niko, Gentoo and others wanted to have

For $20,000 you could probably get Hasselblad painted, quite nicely, on your Nikon DSLR.

Or take $20,000 and try to build a Leica S2 kit. Slightly easier, but still hard.

Hard to build an S2 kit with $20K, since the body is $23K and I prefer to use at least one lens.

gimme $20k for non nikon equipment and I get Leica M9+50/0.95, and for the rest I'll get You beer guys

Maybe they'll make a lensbaby for the S2...
Expensive? Think of all that medium format film you'll save. The other cameras in that section of the market are as expensive, if not more so. Got to be the landscape camera of choice for those rich enough.

Does it use Leica's proprietary mount?
But think of it this way, I'd much rather get a D3x and use F-mount lenses than a S2. The D3x is a fraction of the price of the Leica S2, and obviously they're in different ballparks, but at least at $8000, it's at least semi attainable. Maybe a long shot for me, but at least I'm not buying a camera that's the same price as a well equipped Honda Civic Si.

NSX - it only depends how old is the Honda :)

Easy.
503CW, and then you can get three of their highest-grade lenses and still have money left over for plenty of film and development costs.
