Yay!
Nikon, your turn to crush Sony's camera!
With Sony's own sensor, lol
Yeah, that's the most pathetic part. Looks like Sony helps assemble its own competition.
Until we discover Nikon's Sony sensors all contain a hidden self destruct feature ;^)
if the AF will work than it's gonna be nice camera I guess
It is important to see what kind/size of sensor Sony will use in this camera (if real) - if the sensor is 17mm in diagonal, this will explain why Nikon is filing all those patents for lenses with 17mm image diameter:

I like this one fake better
The witching sticks are now pointing to Sony announcing a new high end video camera that uses Sony's alpha mount. So all of your Minolta/Sony lenses could be used on this "camcorder"
This rumor kinda got busted. I was going to update it but I forgot thanks for bringing it up and reminding me.
That Wednesday Sony unveiled a new hard drive high end HD video camera but with a fixed "G" lens. So the witching sticks were half right.
Great. EP-1/EP-2 and GF-1 don't have competition.
And can you consider the Ricoh system to be competing with the EP-2 and GF1?
Wait till you see what's coming in 2010!

17mm is smaller then Olympus/Panasonic 4/3 sensor, looks more like a new Coolpix generation.
