@Rifqi - What a fun shot! Made me laugh.
I'll post later myself... I work Saturdays so I don't have access to my photo collection at the moment.

Another shot from the San Francisco Botanical Garden from last weekend. I challenged myself to a single lens all day, a Nikkor 105mm.

@ donaldejose.... I love your "product shot" but cannot resist a comment....passport and live ammo....whoops. Going to be difficult to board with this as baggage....LOL
And, just a thought from a former product photographer... watches are almost always set to 8:20 so as to have the hands appear balanced.
But the shot is beautiful!
@ rschnaible That to me is a WOW shot! Very nice. The 105mm sure is looking attractive.

msmoto: Good observations, also at 8:20 you can read all the dial lettering on most watches so it is a good hand position. I didn't let the spring wind down and just unscrewed the crowns instead. An unscrewed crown looks messy to me but I was practicing shooting a lot of watches in different set ups so I didn't take time to let them all come to a stop (it can take up to 24 hours to unwind the spring).
A few years ago I saw a guy board a plane with live ammo when traveling through North Dakota. No problem there as long as he didn't have a gun. People in hunting areas know ammo is not harmful if not in a gun. But I am sure he would have had a problem most places! I have also known guys who went to Africa for a Safari and had to put their rifles and all their ammo in baggage only to have the airline lose it. They had to borrow someone else's gun (like a Nikon shooter going out on a once in lifetime shoot and have to use borrowed Cannon equipment) because they couldn't sit around waiting for the airline to find their rifle. Would have been nice if they could have carried it on like we carry on our important photo gear.

Spend the day at home watching all the college football and other sports activity, while studying/reading the D4 book. Mean while, my test subject keep asking me for her attention so I finally gave in and shoot her....

@golf - Have fun with that D4!
@rensuchan - Love the eerie vibe. And love that D40/lens combo just as much.I worked with this model twice. She's a great subject. This was taken near the local waterfront and the lighting was superb.

September is off to a nice start! I was asked at the end of August where I shoot. Most of my images are from Old Saybrook, CT. This was a young Snowy Egret hopping along at low tide.

@beso, i like the color better, even though there is a lack of in the ground, the sky makes up for a lot of it
