@SquamishPhoto, beautiful portrait, bokey & tecture.
@Beso, nice and crisp, exposition and DR, the way I like it.
@Peely22 interresting effect, probably worth exploring further.

@Pierre - What a lovely scene, such nice dynamic range from the D800! Did you play with it much in post?

@starralazn, I just ate dinner and that Chirashi looks soooo good! ISO2000 is amazing on the D800. I need one of those and some sushi now.

These D800 shots are all just so great.

This girl was actually the make-up person for a model shoot who asked for a quick shot to use on her website.

The D800 (and probably most modern cameras) captures a lots more data worth mining than what meets the eye. Post-processing is the tool for digging.

Yes some PP was involved, the sandard stuff, nothing extraordinary, layering different exposure versions and hand picking the areas I liked. No HDR or fancy stuff.

Shot from a dance back in June. She was tying her hair back mid-dance, which happened to make for a pretty cool candid pose. The lighting was pretty gross, as usual at these dances.

Incredible images to finish up August and what a grand start to September. PAD has become one of my very favorite viewing pleasures in life!

I haven't been around much but there was plenty of good shots in August. Tomorrow I'll turn 30 and I think I've discovered the reason I'm starting to age faster...

    Growing old

This is the first time I've done something like this so considering that I think it turned out pretty ok.

Nice work, Rifqi. Id say you did pretty well considering its your first go. One could've easily been convinced that you'd done this many times before. :]

Astro-photography with 17-55 :) Just messing around really. I actually meant to get my 300 f4 out and go take some pictures, but didn't get around to it.

Rifqi, I understand. One daughter can seem like a bunch. You have shown that. I have five daughters, that is why I have lots of gray hair! But its been a great ride.
What a wonderful start to September, out of the gate fast, but slow and steady she will go as symbolized by the turtle by Adamz.
