Has anyone heard rumors or whatever about a firmware update to add more fps options in the D300s and D3s video modes? Thanks!

What speed were you wanting? Its got 24fps, which is what they say works best.

I was hoping for 30fps and maybe 60fps. 24fps is nice for a film look but most news is shot 60fps.

Really? I didn't know that. I figured it would be shot at 30 because that's what a standard TV displays. For me, I don't really care until you start getting into the very high ranges where you can start to do cool stuff w/ slow-mo.
I doubt you would see an option for anything north of 24, unless it came alongside a decrease in resolution. I'm thinking 24 is a hardware cap. I could be wrong though. Video isn't really my thing.

The 7D has the variable fps. I think theres a new firmware for the 5D2 to do the same. so Im not sure its a tech cap.

I thought I read the D300s has 30fps in Pop Photo's preview. It must have been a typo then, huh?
