Thank you...it's not very often that I attempt to shoot birds =p

    Nermal? Hahaha nice.

I see this same look quite often on my cat Chad.

Adamz- That's interesting....it does look kind of cool with the gull to the side, and straightening it really helps. I really like the warmer tones in the orininal though for some reason...

monty11- That's a really interesting shot...I love the striking red on each side against the gray tones in the rest of the image.

PBrigido- What an incredible shot! The focus is perfect.

Thanks aprillejanine. The focus is nice, but after looking at it for a few days, it just got boring. Next time there will be a bit more "action" to it than just a ball of hovering water. :)

I have to admit though, it is a bit of a challenge trying to take something interesting everyday.

aprillejanine....Thanks,I don't know what plant it is, as I have never seen it before...just a flowering weed I guess that looked very interesting through a macro lens :)

    adamz..Thanks!

Regulator....Fantastic!!....as close to perfect as you can get.

    monty11....excellent textures.

PBrigido...cool shot. Have you ever tried any water drop shots with colored backgrounds, bouncing a flash off of the background instead of the drops?

Haha thank you. It really means a lot to me to hear that when I feel like I'm losing whatever grasp I once had of photography.

Wow I'd hate to see what your photos looked like before you "lost" your grasp on photography! My goodness! :^)

aprille, I'm with Niko on this one....your too good to give up now. Stay offline for awhile, don't view other peoples work, don't believe anyone elses Vision of what your vision should be, start having fun with it again....and let your critics be damned!!

Actually no I haven't. My next tries were going to be with the water basin one color and a different color drop just to see how they intermix. But that is a good idea with bouncing a different color...I like! :)

This one's got some motion blur going on.... but it is a bar after all, so maybe its a little appropriate. I think it works.

Ha! The beer is razor sharp... that's the important part. You can make the rest of the world as blurry as you please, but please oh please don't mess with my sweet natty light!
