Thanks Gentoo! It is almost like art in motion that we can't see until we put a camera on it. :)

You should start a "water drop picture school" and I would be sitting at the front table with a nice red apple for my favorite teacher ;>)

Male Bushtit. Notice his right foot? These are one of those hyperactive birds that are difficult to catch. He left his perch (he was perched sideways, they do this often), right as I snapped the shutter. This is a male because of his dark eyes.

Nice Gentoo....but the forum police may make you re-name that sucker....add a couple of LL's in there and remove a T...and it gets worse. :)

You guys do some nice bird shots! Gentoo, great color and clarity. I can't imagine the patience it takes to capture a shot with such a fast little bird. adamz great reflection...the flamingo really stands out against the background.

Haha, bird names can be interesting; (phoebe, Killdeer, Wood-Pewee), or downright crazy sounding in today's language; ( Boobies, Tits, Cock-Of-The-Rock). The largest tit, I kid you not is called the Great Tit. LOL

It can be a real pain at times. I've been chasing Bushtits for a while and this is the first shot I've been happy with. Thanks for the compliments.

PBrigido: That's an awesome shot! Nice kit as well.

On another note, I think adamz once posted a shot of a Great Tit a while back.
